Our Story
For more than half a century, we have dedicated ourselves to sharing the timeless beauty of jadeite with the world. By connecting the rich jade heritage of Myanmar with Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary design, we continue to explore new possibilities for this extraordinary gemstone and bring its story to future generations.
1973
Founded.
1996
Advocated for the participation of Yangon in the Asia-Pacific City Summit Network and attended the official signing ceremony, strengthening international ties between Japan and Myanmar.
1998
Visited the renowned Hpakant mines in Kachin State, Myanmar — the world's largest and most prestigious source of fine jadeite.
1999
Established an online presence through MDM, the pioneering e-commerce platform that would later become Rakuten Ichiba.
2004
Delivered a lecture at the Fossa Magna Museum in Itoigawa, Japan's historic jade-producing region.
Supported the special exhibition "Jade Exhibition" organized by the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo.
2005
Participated in the European Trade Mission organized by the Kanagawa Prefectural Government.
During the mission, met the French jewelry designer MAZLO, marking the beginning of an enduring creative partnership.
2006
Began collaborating with MAZLO to create contemporary jade jewelry that bridges Eastern heritage and Western design sensibilities.
2007
Co-hosted the exhibition "Jade and Contemporary Jewelry" with master goldsmith Hiroshi Matsumoto, recognized among the world's leading gold artisans.
Launched the MAKE A WISH OF JAPAN Project, through which a portion of sales continues to be donated in support of children facing critical illnesses.
2008
Presented the second exhibition, "Jade and Contemporary Jewelry II".
2011
Opened the Minato Mirai Flagship Store in Yokohama following the company's relocation.
Expanded internationally through participation in the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and major jewelry exhibitions across China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
2014
Renewed collaboration with French designer MAZLO MAX, further exploring the artistic possibilities of jade jewelry.
2015
Attended a conference hosted by Myanmar's Ministry of Mines alongside Mr. Yoshito Sengoku, former Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan and Vice Chairman of the Japan-Myanmar Association.
2017
Incorporated the work of renowned gem sculptor Bernd Munsteiner, one of Germany's most celebrated gemstone artists, into original jade jewelry creations.
Received an award at the Design Competition of the Shenzhen International Jewelry Fair.
2021
Launched the Stone for Living project in collaboration with Takeda Kiyoaki Architectural Design Office, exploring new relationships between stone, design, and daily life.
2022
Contributed materials and expertise to a special exhibition at the Ibaraki Nature Museum.
